Charlie Whinney, international steam-bender extraordinaire, reveals the secrets of his scientific art-form in this intimate intensive practical workshop. He will teach you all that he has done to date, and by the end of three days, you will take away your own unusual steam-bent chair, hand-made by you.
The workshop consists of an evening reception and three days steam-bending, in which you will learn enough to make your own products and to experiment with the technique – from the forest to the showroom! There will be 7 people at each workshop, and you will make two steam-bent products in the beautiful surroundings and creative atmosphere of South Lakeland. All food and accommodation will be included in the price, including a welcome drinks and buffet on the evening of Friday 22nd.
